Luis Enrique has already delivered Arsenal verdict ahead of Champions League semi-final tie against PSG

Luis Enrique called Arsenal ‘one of the best teams in Europe’
Arsenal hosted PSG at the Emirates Stadium on 1 October 2024 and, despite being second best in several metrics, they ran out 2-0 winners.
The Gunners had just 35 percent possession to PSG’s 65 percent, and the French side also made 647 passes and had 10 shots and five corners.
However, Arsenal got five of their six efforts on target on the night, with Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka finding the back of the net.
Speaking after the game, Enrique described Arsenal as “one of the best teams in Europe” on the ball and among the best in the world off it.
“I think they are one of the best teams in Europe at the moment,” Enrique said, as per .
“With the ball they are a team very close to the top European level, and without the ball they are also very good.
“I would even say that they are one of the best teams in the world without the ball. They are a team with a real identity. We are similar but also have different styles of play.”
Enrique also said after October’s loss to Arsenal: “Today we were far away from the standards you need in this kind of match.
“Arsenal were much better in terms of pressure, intensity, they won every duel.
“It’s impossible to play for a positive result when you don’t win any of your duels on the pitch, their defenders anticipated our attackers and our defenders didn’t anticipate their attackers.
“Arsenal were superior.”
David Raya’s Arsenal warning on Paris Saint-Germain’s improvements since October match
Raya recently fired a warning to his Arsenal teammates about PSG and how they are likely to be a much different proposition this time round.
Speaking after the win in Madrid, Raya told the media: “We beat them at home but I think PSG now are a different team.
“They look even better than what they looked back in the group stage and that’s credit to them. They haven’t had easy games either.
“I’m looking forward to it, but for now let’s focus on the present, focus on this weekend when we go to Ipswich and then we’ll see when it comes to PSG what happens.”
