Lucas Bergvall stunned by what he saw from ‘outstanding’ Tottenham teammate vs Vissel Kobe

Tottenham Hotspur will be jetting off Seoul, South Korea delighted with how their pre-season has started.

Saturday saw Tottenham secure themselves their third consecutive win of the summer with a 3-2 victory over Vissel Kobe.

The J League side are the reigning champions and deep into their current season, however, Spurs were able to prevail in the Tokyo heat.

Ange Postecoglou may not have seen many players come through the doors in the market but he is being treated to some impressive displays by the players already at the club.

It is not just the Spurs manager who has been impressed with summer arrival Lucas Bergvall also left wowed by one of his teammates after the win over Vissel Kobe.

Lucas Bergvall left wowed by ‘outstanding’ Tottenham teammate

Bergvall is another player who has made a solid first impression on those at Tottenham following his opening displays as a Spurs player.

Fans will have been desperate to see the Swede back in action after his start last week against QPR was cut short due to a knock he picked up.

Thankfully, Bergvall’s withdrawal from the game at Loftus Road seems to have only been precautionary after he played the second 45 minutes in Japan.

With another encouraging showing under his belt, the Swede took to social media after the game to praise one of his teammates.

There’s one name which is really beginning to grab the headlines at Tottenham this summer and that is youngster Mikey Moore.

The 16-year-old scored the winning goal for Spurs as he grabbed his third goal contribution of the summer.

And after the game, he posted on his account, to which he captioned his photos with: “Thank you Tokyo, what an experience”.

Bergvall was quick to shower the ‘outstanding‘ Moore with praise after he scored again as the Swede simply replied: “Wow”.

What Ange Postecoglou said about Mikey Moore

Anyone who is watching what this 16-year-old is doing cannot help but be impressed with the maturity and confidence he carries himself with.

His performances have seen Moore receive interest from the likes of Real Madrid and PSG along with a host of English clubs.

However, TBR football understands Moore has already agreed terms to his first professional deal with Tottenham which will be signed next month.

Much like Bergvall, after the game, Postecoglou was left waxing lyrical about Moore.

“Mikey has been fantastic since we brought him in. He’s earned his spot on the roster at the moment — he did at the end of last year,” the Spurs boss said.
