Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk predicts the result of Arsenal vs Crystal Palace
It is worth wondering whether Virgil van Dijk and his Liverpool teammates would rather Arsenal handed them the Premier League title by losing to Crystal Palace or whether they would rather get the job done against Tottenham Hotspur themselves.
Either way, it seems like only a matter of time before Liverpool officially dethrone Manchester City as the kings of English football.
For Mikel Arteta, he would ideally like the Gunners to get the all-important three points against Palace before they play Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the Champions League.
Virgil van Dijk has given his two cents on how expects Arsenal’s clash against Crystal Palace to pan out.

Virgil van Dijk thinks Arsenal will beat Crystal Palace
Van Dijk has backed Arsenal to do the business against Crystal Palace.
With Arsenal hosting Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium, Van Dijk revealed that even those within the Liverpool camp expect the hosts to come out on top.
The Dutchman said via : “I expect Arsenal to win at home but, yeah, if it doesn’t happen, then I think it would be nice to be together.”
“So however that may look, we will discuss in the next couple of days. But if Arsenal just win that game, as they probably expect they will do against a very good Crystal Palace, then we have to do our job at the weekend.”
Virgil van Dijk’s message to Liverpool fans ahead of Tottenham clash
Van Dijk rates Tottenham highly as a team and expects Liverpool to be up against it when they face Spurs if the title is on the line against them in the event that Arsenal defeat Crystal Palace.
Van Dijk said: “Yeah, listen, it’s a great feeling to be in this position, something that we don’t take for granted. It’s been, in my opinion, an outstanding season. Lot of good moments, a lot of good moments actually, a lot of wins and good performances and now we have a chance to finish it on the weekend against a very good Tottenham Hotspur in my opinion.”
“We played already three times against them this season and every game is very intense and we’ve got a week to prepare, if anything happens on Wednesday, happy days, if not, then we have to finish it off and we’ve got to be at our best to do that and that’ll be our main focus. We still have a big game on the weekend.”
Van Dijk also sent a message to Liverpool fans ahead of Sunday’s game, saying: “I encourage everyone, Liverpool fans of course, be there, support us and it’ll be all worth it at the end, we’ve all worked so hard to be in this position throughout the whole season, we’ve been so consistent in the league especially. With the results, with the wins and now we have a big opportunity because it’s an opportunity, nothing else.”
