Liverpool ready to sign ‘extraordinary’ £78m defender

Liverpool’s quest to sign a new defender could take them back to young French star Leny Yoro, with Lille demanding a huge fee for the youngster.

Yor꧙o is emerging as one of the b♏rightest young defenders in Europe and is already a regular for the Ligue 1 side.

Both Liverpool and Manchester United are thought to be keen on signing Yoro. Real Madrid, too, have bee൩n credi🍨ted with holding an interest in the teenager.

However, it is Liverpool’s interest which will catch the eyes of Reds𝓀 fans today, with clai🧸ming the Reds are ‘ready’ to sign the defender.

It’s reported tha𒀰t the Reds are ‘🏅ready to sign a nice cheque’ to win the race for Yoro.

That cheque could be a big one, though. It’s claimed in the same report that Lille’s ow🔥nership are demanding close to £78m for Yoro, such is their high valuation of him as a player.

Of course, Yoro has caught the eye of French legend Thierry Henry, who has dubbed thജe young defender as ‘‘ for what he’s producing for Lille so far.

A price too high for Liverpool

Leny Yoro might be a big prospect and one for the future but there’s just no way Liverpool pay more than £70m for 🌼a defender like this.

Liverpool parted ways with a similar fee for Virgil van Dijk. But this was after the Duꩵtchman had proved himself in England and with Celtic.

Yoro is doin🅺g♌ the business for Lille right now and it’s no wonder Liverpool are watching.

But for the Reds to go and fork out ꦦ£78m for Yor🌟o in January would be quite wild.

Of course, you nev🌊er know. But right now, this one is more likely to be don🎀e further down the line.
