Liverpool have identified a Newcastle United defender as a potential alternative to Jeremie Frimpong as they prepare for life without Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Talks over a deal for Trent𒐪 Alexander-Arnold to join Real Madrid have advanced with theꦛ 15-time European champions closing in on the 🦩free transfer.

The Reds have now🉐 started plans to replace the 26-year-old and have identified several targets who they are now assessing.

One of those targets i🌟s a player from Newcastle who has really impressed on Tynseside this season, although prisining him away from St James’ Park could be tricky.
