Liverpool fans send clear message about Alexander Isak after draw vs Newcastle

Liverpool played out a dramatic 3-3 draw with Newcastle United in Wednesday night’s Premier League encounter at St James’ Park.

Alexander Isak opened the scoring for Newcastle in the 35th minute of the Premier League𒊎 match on Tyneside, getting half a yard on Virgil van Dijk and firing home.

Liverpool♌ then equalised in the 51st minute as Curtis Jones fired into the roof of the Magpies net after latching on to Mohamed Salah’s pass in the box.

✅However, Newcastle retook the lead on 63 minutes, with Isak setting up Anthony Gordon to squirm a low finish through Caoimhin Kelleher.

Liverpool restored parity once again in the 68th minute, substitute Trent Alexander-Arnold finding Salah for a finish from eight yards out.

🍸Seven minutes from time, Salah got onto the end of a cross to fire an unstoppable strike into the far corner of Newcastle’s net.

🍎It looked as though that would be Liverpool’s winner, but then, in the 89th minute, the Magpies equalised.

𝄹Kelleher’s decision to leave a ball to trickle out for a goal kick came back to haunt him as Fabian Schar slid in to score from a tight angle.
