Dominik Szoboszlai was outstanding for Liverpool in North London as the midfielder came away with a goal and an assist in a 6-3 win.

Arne Slot changed Szoboszlai’s role against Tottenham Hotspur and the midfielder flourished. The Reds suffocated Spurs inside their own half with the attacking quartet of Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo and Szoboszlai.

Szoboszlai has had his critics as of late but the Hungarian was senꦓsational in the Merseyside club’s win a💝nd their fans have been going crazy for his display.

Liverpool fans have been raving about Dominik Szoboszlai’s new advanced role in the team against Tottenham. Slot moved him from a left-sided central midfielder into the number ten role and he was unplayable for most of the 90 🍸minutes.

The 24-year-old left Noth London adding a goal and an assist to his tally for the season and potentially a new advanced role in the Slot’s team. Liverpool blew Tottenham away in the first 45 minutes and Szoboszlai was involved in so many of their good 🔴moments.

Slot must now keep him in the number ten role moﷺving forw🌼ard as it is clear this is where the former RB Leipzig man plays his best football. After the match, Liverpool fans took to X to share their thoughts on him.

How good was Dominik Szoboszlai vs Tottenham

Szoboszlai was not just great in the attacking moments but also showed a great all-round ability as he won six of his eight duels against Tottenham. He also completed one tackle and a single interception as he showed anotherꦬ side to his game.

The 24-year-old also managed six attempts at goal showing just how much of a handful he was for Spurs’ back line. There will be a ca♏se that the North London club were very poor, but Slot’s attackers also just made them look worse than they actually were.
