Liverpool could use Norwich’s interest in Masterson to help seal Godfrey deal
Liverpool are facing the prospect of losing promising defender Conor Masterson on a💮 free transfer this summer,
They that the talented Irishman is out of contract at Anfield at the end o𒐪f the season and Championship leaders Norwich City are circling with a view on a potential bargain.
The Sun the Canaries would only hไave to pay a compensation fee to get Masterson if he doesn’t sign a new deal, but Jurgen Klopp clearly rates him as he has placed him on the f♏ringes of his first-team squad at times.
But another defe🎶nder Klopp a fan of – – is Ben Godfrey, who has been impressive for Norwich this season, as they have s🍌tormed to the brink of a return to the Premier League.

So both club𝕴s want a centre-half from the other, with Masterson potentially being a replacement for Godfrey – so can a mutualꩵly beneficial transfer be organised?
There should be no reaso💎n why not. Even if Masterson’s contract situation may take some power o♚ut of Liverpool’s hands, they may be able to entice Norwich be ensuring he comes to them if they beat the growing crowd to land Godfrey.
It would🐻 make sense on both sides, because even if Masterson is rated at Liverpool, the arrival of another youngster in Godfrey would surely make his first-team chances even slimmer.
