‘It’s too much’: £192,000-a-week Liverpool man delivers shock verdict
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will see his side take on Everton in the first Merseyside derby of the 2021/22 campaign on Wednesday.
The Reds thrashed Southampton 4-0 at Anfield yesterday and are in good form going into the derby-day contest.
Despite that, Klopp isn’t looking forward to the game!
Liverpool will make the short trip through Stanley Park for the fixture in great form.
Klopp has seen his team defeated just once in all competitions this season and his team look united once more.

On current form and with Liverpool’s front three in great shape, the challenge for Everton looks thankless.
Klopp isn’t a fan of the derby-day environment though and has suggested that he’s anxious ahead of it.
: “I often don’t like the intensity of the game, it’s too much for me.
“I don’t like physical football, I have no problem with that, other teams play that.
“In that game, people put too much in. It’s not my favourite game of the year.”
Klopp’s anxiety is natural. During last season’s game at Goodison Park, Liverpool lost Virgil van Dijk for the rest of the season, with Fabinho also picking up an injury.
The Reds boss will certainly hope to avoid history repeating itself this season.
Liverpool boss Klopp sends reverse psychology message ahead of Everton
Is Klopp trying to make sure that whoever gets the nod to referee on Wednesday night is prepared to look after the Liverpool players?
It very much seems that way, with the German boss likely to have been unhappy with Michael Oliver given the way he handled last season’s derby-day clash at Goodison Park.
Premier League managers simply love to exploit the media to send psychological statements and this appears to be just that.

The manager shouldn’t have too many worries about Everton.
Rafa Benitez’s team are in shocking form and face Brentford away later today.
Klopp will be keen to avoid any more injuries. If they play their normal game, however, Wednesday night should be nothing more than a precession.
