Report: Liverpool teenager Ben Woodburn set to join Oxford United on loan
Liverpool teenager Ben Woodburn is set to join League One outfit Oxford United on loan for the 2019/20 season,
🌜The forward has been left out of Jurgen Klopp’s travelling party for a training camp in France.
A failed loan spell at Sheffield United last season has prompted Liverpool into another temporary stint for the youngster.

🦹Oxford are managed by Liverpool-born Karl Robinson and Klopp is hopeful that the League One club can get him firing once again.
𒊎Woodburn is Liverpool’s youngest ever goalscorer. He netted in a League Cup game against Leeds at the age of 17 years and 45 days; smashing a record held previously by Michael Owen.
🌳Oxford finished 12th in the third tier last term and Robinson will hope Woodburn helps the club progress.
TBR Verdict
ꦇIt really is a curious case as far as Woodburn goes.
𒈔When he burst onto the scene it seemed for all the world that he’d be a raving success.

🧜That hasn’t quite transpired, however, and his progression has stalled somewhat.
♉He didn’t play much at Sheffield United last season and now Klopp has chosen not to call upon him for the forthcoming campaign.
𝕴A move to League One might be ideal. It should give the £12,000-a-week youngster him the chance to play regular football and rediscover his lethal prowess in front of goal.
