Liverpool and Man City hold talks with midfielder who Pep Guardiola claims is ‘sensational’

TBR Football can confirm that Liverpool and Manchester City have both held talks over deals to sign Joshua Kimmich on a free transfer in the summer.

The German midfielder is currently weighing up his options ahead of his contract wi💖th Bayern Munich expiring in June.

The Bavarians, who have already persuaded Alphonso Davies to sign a new contract, are making a big push to persuade Kimmich to stay.

The 30-year-old is considering staying in Munich but there is strong interest i🌱n landing him with several clubs🀅 keen to sign him including the two Premier League giants.

Manchester City and Liverpool want Johsua Kimmich on free transfer

Manchester City have made contact with the midfielder’s representatives after Pep Guardiola wantiꦺng to be reunited with Joshu🍬a Kimmich, who he has previously labelled , sources have told TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.

TBR Football can also confirm that Liverpool are very much looking at Ki🃏mmich’s situation and have also had dialogue with the pl𒆙ayer.

The German international is at home in central midfield but he can also play in central defence and right-back which could help fill the void that is set to be left by Trent Alexander-Arnold.

There is also ☂interest from the Saudi Pro League, Italy, France and Spain – where his former boss Hansi Flick has made it clear to his boss that Barcelona should be in the c🎶onversation.

Meanwhile, TBR Football sources have also been told that Real Madrid have not ruled th🐎emselves out of contention to sign the experienced midfielder.

Bayern Munich keen to keep Joshua Kimmich

Bayern Munich are still hopeful of keeping Kimmich and as mentioned, the German giants are doing evꩲerything to convince him to stay.

Last week sporting chief Max Eberl admitted they wou𓃲ld give him time: “Of course we know that we can’t wait forever, but we want to give Joshua a bit of time and let his thoughts 🀅mature that Bayern Munich is the club where he wants to continue.”

Kimmich remains a key pl🗹ayer for Vincent Kompany having completed 9💧0 minutes in every Bundesliga game for Bayern this season.
