Liam Cooper sends Instagram message to two Leeds signings
Liam Cooper has w🤡elcomed new Leeds United signings Ian Poveda and Jean-Kevin Augustin on Instagram after the duo arrived at Elland Road over the last few days – replacing the losses of Jack Clarke anꩵd Eddie Nketiah.
With Clarke and Nketiah returning to Tottenham✤ and Arsenal🦋, director of football Victor Orta went about replacing the two loanees. It has seen Leeds sign 19-year-old Poveda on a free from Manchester City, until the summer of 2024.
On Monday, Leeds also announced the loan-to-buy signing of France Under-21 international𓄧 Augustin from RedBull Leipzig – which saw Augustin cancel his loan at AS Monaco in order to complete a move to west Yorkshire.
Despite winning just one of their last sဣeven league games, Leeds supporters are in buoyant mood on social media after the duo were announced as new Leed🌟s players. Poveda is available to face Millwall on Tuesday, while Augustin will have to wait.
The signing of French star Augustin has really got fans excite🤡d, given the player has played over 30 times for Paris Saint-Germain, been linked heavily with a move to the Premier League and starred for Leipzig in 2017-18 and 2018-19✅.
Captain Cooper took on the responsibility of skipper and welcomed bothඣ new players to the club, posting a picture of each on his Instagram account and captioning it with “Welcome to the part🐟y”.
