Levi Colwill shares Tyrique George verdict and makes prediction about Chelsea gem’s future after Southampton heroics

Chelsea are back on track in the Premier League after making light work of Southampton at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

The Blues’ form hasn’🦄t been great of late, but they were ruthlessly efficient against the Saints, who are having a nightmare of a season.

Christopher 🍬Nkunku, Pedro Neto and Levi Colwill all scored in the first half to effectively end the match as a contest.

Marc Cucurella then put Chelsea four goals up in the 78th minute, 𒊎with substitute Tyri꧃que George picking up his first ever Premier League assist.

It ꩲwas▨ a great occasion for George, who was being hailed by Chelsea fans as he came on in the second half.

And Levi Colwill, sp𒁏🐼eaking to the media after the game, delivered an emphatic verdict about his young teammate.

Levi Colwill hails ‘amazing’ Chelsea teammate Tyrique George

Colwill described George as an “amazing” 🦹and𝓀 “very, very sharp” player with a bright future ahead of him.

The Chelsea defender also expressed his pride🌊 with George over his assist and hoped he could 💦kick on from here.

“He’s very, very sharp,” Colwill told TNT Sports. “Amazing player and he’s 🧸got a future ahead of him.

“I’m really proud for him and that assist, hopefully he can go on now and keep doing these performances for us and more.🃏”

How Tyrique George fared against Southampton

George only got 22 minutes under his belt against Souꦛthampton, but he certainly made an impression with some solid stats.

As well aꦫs registering an assist, Georg🔯e made three key passes and also boasted a 100 percent pass rate.

At just 19 y♓ears of age, George is already staking a claim for regular minutes with Chel꧅sea, which shows what a top talent he is.

It’ll be exciting to see what awaits George as he continues to develop a player and, needless to say, he’s already proving to be a fan favou♏rite at Stamford Bridge.
