Leicester City want to sign ‘unbelievable’ Tottenham player and he’s open to leaving

Newly promoted Leicester City are said to be one of the clubs interested in signing a Tottenham Hotspur player this summer.

Spurs are expected to part ways with quite a few of their players in the ෴coming weeks.

Ange Postecoglou has already allowed the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Japhet Tanganga, Ryan Sessegnon, Joe Rodon and Troy Parrott to leave the club, but thatꦛ won’t be all.

One Tottenham player is attracting plenty of interest, and Leicester City are now said to be keen to s༒ign him in the coming weeks.

Leicester City want to sign Oliver Skipp from Tottenham

Oliver Skipp’s future at Tottenham is up in the air.

The talented Englishman✱ joined Spurs’ development centre when he ꦏwas just five years old. He played in every age group in the academy and was always viewed as a star in the making.

Skipp, branded as ‘unbelievable’ by Daniel Farke (), has made over 100 appearances for Tottenham’s senior side, ♕which is quite a🌼n achievement considering he is still only 23 years old.

However, the midfielder just hasn’t been ableไ to nail down a starting spot for himse🅠lf.

Under Postecoglou in the 2023/24 season, Skipp made 24 appearances but just seven of those came from the start. He played less than 900 min🎃utes of football in all co𝄹mpetitions.

That has led to rumours that he could leave Tottenham, 💞and have revealed that Leicester City are among many clubs keen to sign Skipp this summer.

The update claims that the midfielder is open to a move away from Spurs in search of regular football, but the꧙꧑re is a problem.

Skipp is v𒊎ery unlikely to leave Tottenham thi🀅s summer for one interesting reason.

Why Tottenham are against selling Skipp

Skipp is nowhere near the top of Postecoglou♉’s pec♚king order at Tottenham.

When a player is by no means a regular, you would imagine that he would be up for sale, especially when🦂 he is open to a move.

However, Tottenham want to keep hold of Skippไ because of his hom𒊎egrown status.

Sky Sports reveal that Skipp ‘fills a crucial spot in the squad🌠 as a club-trained player, which Spurs need four of in their Europa League squad’ next season.

That is th🍰e only reason why th𝓰ey want to keep hold of Skipp, but that could change if Spurs sign a couple of homegrown players in the remainder of the window.

Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher and Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey have been heavily linked with a ⭕move to Tottenham.
