Leeds fans unimpressed with captain Liam Cooper despite comeback win over Millwall

Leeds United produced a stunning comeback win to beat Millwall at Elland Road on Tuesday night after going down 2-0 at half-time – and supporters have critici♔sed captain Liam Cooper on Twitter.

An unmarked Sam Hutchison gave Millwall the lead after just four minutes from a corner, before a controversial penalty saw Jed Wallace squeeze a penalty past Kiko Casilla. Prior to the foul, 💝replays showed 🐎the ball went out of play.

Referee Darren England was heavily jeered throughout the match by Leeds supporters, and also drew criticism from Whites owner Andrea Radrizzani during the match – claiming his officiating was “♔not acceptable for a professional league.”

The second half, though, was a different story. Patrick Bamford got the ball rolling with a tap-in on 48 minutes, after Jack Harrison’s eff♓ort was well saved. Pablo Hernandez’s effort from the edge of the area deflected in.

Then, Bamford made himself the hero with an excellentꦐ diving header to put Leeds ahead. Matuesz Klich should have killed the game 🥃but failed to do so when given the chance from eight yards out – when it was perhaps easier to score.

Cooper, though, was hardly impressive throughout the match as Leeds conceded again from a corner and looked shaky at the back throughout. Many Whites fan🌃s reacted to his displa♓y, criticising the captain who joined for £500,000 () in 2014.
