Leeds could sign ‘fantastic’ Premier League player on loan right at the end of the transfer window
Leeds United have been linked with a number of new defensive options during the January transfer window.
The Whites have mainly been linked with full-backs with names such as Neco Williams, Ben Johnson and Charlie Taylor all cropping up throughout this transfer window.
However, there has also been some chat about centre-back arrivals with Ben Godfrey linked recently.
♛According to Alan Nixon, writing on his , Leeds could still make a centre-half addition before the deadline, claiming that the Whites could secure a loan move for Nottingham Forest’s Joe Worrall right at the death.
According to Nixon, Forest want £6m for Worrall, and while Leeds🌞 are unwilling to pay that fee to sign him permanently, if no other options crop up, a loan deal could be viable at the end of the window.

🌞This is a very interesting story to say the least.
🌟Worrall hasn’t had the best of seasons for Forest, but he is brilliant at Championship level.
🍃There’s a reason Steven Gerrard called the defender ‘’ during his time at Rangers. Not only is he a top defender for this level, he’s also a great leader.
With Worrall, Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk and Liam Cooper🍌 as potential centre-back options, Leeds would have a very solid core.
♓However, with that being said, there are still glaring issues at both right-back and left-back and those certainly need addressing.
🍎On top of that, if Worrall did come in, you’d have to imagine that Charlie Cresswell’s Elland Road career would be coming to an end in the coming days too after recent complaints about a lack of gametime.
🔜Leeds are yet to do any business in terms of incomings this January, but there could well be a late flurry of activity at Elland Road in the final days of the window.
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on.
