Leeds could sign £11m player permanently this month

Joe Rodon has been fantastic for Leeds this season.

The Welsh defender is currently at Elland Road on loan, and while Leeds do have Rodon on their books until the end of the season, theyཧ may🐓 well want to explore a permanent deal sooner rather than later.

Indeed, speaking on , George Sessions has been discussing Rodon’s future, and he’s said that we should keep an eye on Rodon making a permanent switch to Leeds this month as the Yorkshire club look to avoid a potential summer bidding war for th𝔍e centre-back.

Leeds could sign Rodon this month

Sessions spoke about the defe💟nder and his future.

“Let’s say Leeds go up, they would be frontrunners to do that, but there will be clubs after Joe Rodon, so there’s no gurantee for Leeds. I think that’s one to keep an eye on for this window, even if they don’t get promoted they see him as a really key player and the fans love h🎐im. It would make sense to get him now and negate the chance of a bidding war in the summer,” Sessions said.

Difficult

While Leeds signing Rodon this 🍷month would make a lot of sense, the finances surrounding this deal make it fairly difficult.

As Sessions says, Rodon will be a wanted man, and that will have driven his pricetag up, and with Leeds having other issues to address this month – notably at full-back, we can’t help but think that they won’t spend much-needed funds on a positio⛄n that is already so✤rted for the next six months.

Yes, Leeds would ideally be able to sign Rodon permanently this month, but if they have the choice between spending millions on a centre-back who they already have tied down for the next six months or signing a💛 new right-back ♔who can help them in their promotion push, we think it’s a no-brainer.
