The transfer window closes on Thursday, and Leeds United have work to do.
ไThe Whites are yet to bring any bodies through the door this month, and there’s a glaring hole in their squad at right-back.
Indeed, after both Djed Spence and Luke Ayling🔴 departed earlier this month, Leeds are seriously lacking depth in that position, and if there’s any position that needs addressing before the deadline, it’s at right-back.
Luckily, it sounds as though the club are on the case, and according to Ben Jacobs, speaking on , Connor Roberts🌠 from Burnley is a player that the Yorkshire club could genuinely bring in before Thursday night.

Roberts an option for Leeds
Jacobs spoke about the 28-year-old defender and Leeds.
♛“I think Leeds will still be very active. They want a full-back, we know there’s interest in Connor Roberts at Burnley, there are a few other teams exploring that possibility as well, he has 18 months left on his contract, Brentford could be one to watch and I would keep an eye on Feyenoord. Leeds have a realistic possibility of getting that one over the line,” Jacobs said.
Tough
ඣRoberts would be a fantastic signing for Leeds. After all, he was one of the best right-backs in the Championship last season, but this deal could be difficult to do.
🐼As Jacobs says, both Brentford and Feyenoord are also keen, and in a three way battle between those clubs, you have to make Leeds underdogs.
꧟Feyenoord are in the Europa League, while Brentford are a Premier League club, the idea of choosing Leeds ahead of those two sides doesn’t quite add up if you’re a player with ambition of making it to the top.
ꦇOf course, whether or not Brentford and Feyenoord go for Roberts remains to be seen, and if that path remains clear, perhaps Leeds could swoop to get this deal done.
