Jurgen Klopp says Jamie Vardy will be licking his lips about facing Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurge✨n Klopp warned his backline that Leicester City hitman Jamie Vardy will wreck havoc against them this weekend if they defend as poorly as they did against RB Salzburg last night.
As, Klopp said he expected Brꦑendan Rodgers to be increasingly confident that Vardy can do damage to his side if they repeat♌ their defensive display from last night’s 4-3 win.
He : “I’m sure Brendan Rodgers will think if we defend like that againsꦫt on Saturday, Jamie Vardy will run around our goalkeeper and score fiv🐲e times.
“How do I explain that? We change🔜d our approach a little bit, and our defending didn’t make sense. We gave the ball away for the first goal, the third goal, anꩵd the positioning was just rubbish.”

TBR’s View – Vardy will be looking to extend strong record against Liverpool
Jamie Vardy has a fantastic record against the top six and seven goals in nine games against Liverpool in his Fo🌠xes career.
His pace in behind is always a threat and Liverpool have been trying to p🅘lay with an even higher line this season in order to make the most of the new VAR technology in the Premier League.
That could play into Vardy’s hands. He will likely have se🦄en the way Sheffield United were able to get in behind Liverpool’s full backs last weekend and been licking his lips.
The Reds need a commanding performance and result soon, but Leicester have come to Stamford Bridge and 𓃲Old Trafford this year and♔ dominated possession.
Anfield wi⛎ll pose a tougher test but Vardy should have reason to be confident, as Klopp says.
