Joe Cole names the Manchester United player who would be a ‘hell of a signing’ for Arsenal

Arsenal were active in the summer transfer window as Mikel Arteta aimed to fine-tune his squad that gave Manchester City a run for their money in the 2023-24 Premier League title race.

꧂The Gunners signed Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino permanently, while Raheem Sterling and Neto joined the club on season-long loan deals.

The upcoming windows could be crucial for Arsenalও as they are currently on the cusp of something special.

And Joe Cole feels the Gunners must launch an audacious move for a Manchester United man who has been linked with an exit.

TBR Football exclusively revealed that 𒉰Manchester United are yet to make a decision on Marcus Rashford𒉰, who has been linked with a departure in recent weeks.

😼The England international has stagnated in recent seasons and with Ruben Amorim in need of funds to overhaul his squad, he could well be offloaded at the end of the season.

Cole feels Rashfordꦏ is the kind of player Arsenal should be targeting if they want to reinforce their attack.

♛“Reports today that Marcus Rashford may be moved on by Manchester United,” said Cole on TNT Spots.

💮“He’d be a hell of a signing! That’s where they have to shop, Arsenal – on the left side. They’ve got to shop for the very, very top players to improve this team.”

🦹Rashford has started well under Amorim with three goals to his name under the Portuguese boss.

ꦐHowever, over the past two Premier League seasons, he scored just 11 league goals, which isn’t a good enough tally for a player of his calibre.

♐Arsenal will look to reinforce their attack in 2025 and the 27-year-old could emerge as an intriguing option as he has all the qualities to flourish in Arteta’s system.

ꦡWhether or not they launch a move for him, however, remains to be seen.
