There were fears that th𒐪e defender could’ve missed the rest 🎉of the season due to the injury.

However, Marsch has told reporters that Hjelde will b💯e out for weeks instea🍎d of months.

“He had surgery last Wednesday,” quotꩲes the Whites boss as saying. “Seven or eight day൩s ago.

“Immediate feedback is that it was not so severe. His knee hasn’t r♏eacted, h🦂e has full range of motion.

“Recovery looking like a matter of ♒⛦weeks rather than months.”

Hjelde has played thr👍ee times for Leeds United’s senior side since joining from Celtic in the summer.

He has done incredibly well in all of those appearances and looks like a player with realꦫ potential.

Hjelde is also versati🅷le, able to play as both a left-sided centre-back and a left-back.

Marcel💦o Bielsa rated the Norwegian highly and named him in numerous m🎉atchday squads.

Chances are Hjelde will also impress Marsch once he’s bacꦇk in training.

Leeds have 11 games left to play in👍 the Premier League this season, s🦩o the pressure is on.

Hopefully Hjelde will be able to play a part in 💙some of those.

“What a player he’s looking”

Elland Road icon Jermaine Beckford lauded🍒 Hjelde on the official after he shone in January’s 3-2 win over West Ham United.

“The young boy, Hjelde when he came on as well, what a pla𝕴yer he’s looking by th꧑e way,” he said.

“I don’t want to put too much pressure on him.

“But that’s t▨wice we’ve seen him, twice we’ve seen him against West Ham, against a very physical, very strong, very quick centre forward in Michail Antonio and a tricky player in Jarrod Bowen.

“I don’t want to say he had them in his pocket, bꦫut I ꦕthink he did.”
