Jeff Stelling thinks Liverpool may be tempted to sell Trent Alexander-Arnold because of one teammate

Jeff Stelling believes the emergence of one Liverpool youngster could make it easier for the Anfield giants to sell Trent Alexander-Arnold.

With Alexander-Arnold’s contract set to run out next summer, Liverpool have thus far been unable to tie him down to a new dea💯l.

There were reports last month that Arn🎀e Slot will hold f🌳ace-to-face talks with Alexander-Arnold to convince him to stay at th🐭e club, but we are yet to hear mor🅰e.

Real Madri🌳d ⭕are reportedly interested in signing Alexander-Arnold and he was spotted on holiday with Jude Bellingham earlier this summer, fueling claims ไthat ☂he could be on the move to the Spanish capital.

With ꦿ💙speculation surrounding his future dominating the back pages, Stelling has made a rather surprising claim about the Liverpool vice-captain.

Conor Bradley’s emergence could convince Liverpool to sell Alexander-Arnold

Alexander-Arnold is undoubtedly one of the best right-backs in the modern game, but Conor Bradley proved to be a revelation last season.

Having made his Premier League debut in January, the Northern Irishman quickly endeared himself to the Anfield faithful ♉with a string of magnificent displays as he racked up 23 appearances across all ꧂competitions last season.

Stelling believes Bradley’s emergence could tempt Liverpool into offloading Alexander-Arn🎐old, especially with the 25-year-old entering the last year of his contract.

“I just wonder when it comes to Trent,🦩 whether they ar🀅e tempted to cash in on him because of the emergence of Conor Bradley who has been brilliant,’ Stelling said on (Aug 13th, 9:14 AM).

Liverpool must extend Alexander-Arnold’s contract

While Bradley is a fantastic player in 🧔his own right, Alexander-Arnold is one of the biggest matchwinners in world football and an integral part of Liverpool’s current squad.

The 25-year-old is the kind of player you build your team around and his skillset would allow him to๊ thrive in Slot’s system, with the Dutchman adopting a more possession-based brand of football.

Additionally, his ability to play in midfield could add♎ another 💜dimension to the team, so the new manager will look to do everything he can to tie him down to a new deal.

Liverpool should see Bradley’s emergence as a blessing as it would allow the pair to share the burden when games come thick and fast, while the Northern Irishman’s presence would give Slot the option to move Alexander-Arnold into midfield when needꦐed.
