Jamie Carragher says Nottingham Forest have a ‘fantastic’ player who is ‘very underrated’
Nottingham Forest have been the surprise package in the Premier League this season.
Indeed, the Reds are currently sitting pretty inside the top five, and if they can get their form back on track, they will be playing Champions League football next season.

Forest have received plenty of praise this season, and a number of players have been hailed for their individual brilliance too.
Anthony Elanga has been praised for his showings as of late, while Pep Guardiola praised four Forest players recently.
Speaking to Goal, Jamie Carragher has been building his Premier League Team of the Season, and there was space for a few Forest players in this side.
Indeed, Ola Aina and Nikola Milenkovic got in at the back, while, in the midfield, Carragher reserved a special mention for Morgan Gibbs-White, claiming that he thinks the England international is a very underrated player.

Jamie Carragher says Morgan Gibbs-White is very underrated
Carragher shared his verdict on Gibbs-White and his performances this season.
The pundit said the midfielder has been fantastic this term, while he also said that he remains an underrated player.
“I’m going to go with, Morgan Gibbs-White. I think he’s been fantastic. I think Forest have been brilliant, but, for me, I think he’s a very underrated player.”
Morgan Gibbs-White key stats this season
As Carragher says, Morgan Gibbs-White has been fantastic this season.
The England international has been such a difference-maker for Forest in that attacking midfield role, and while his stats are brilliant, they still, somehow, don’t do him justice.

Games | 28 |
Goals | 5 |

Key passes per game | 1.6 |
Shots per game | 1.8 |

Gibbs-White is arguably Forest’s most important player, and he could well be playing Champions League football for the Reds next season.
Gibbs-White, controversially, wasn’t selected in Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad, but, make no mistake about it, this young man will have a big part to play for the Three Lions in the future.
Carragher picked Gibbs-White in his Team of the Season, and it’s hard to disagree with that point of view after what has been a standout campaign for the Nottingham Forest star.
