Jamie Carragher picks the team he thinks Alexander Isak would rather join – Liverpool or Arsenal
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move to sign Alexander Isak, but Jamie Carragher has now thrown Liverpool’s name into the mix.
The Newcastle United star is arguably the best striker in the world right now. He has been magnificent for the Magpies and was the biggest reason why Arsenal lost 4-0 on aggregate in the 🙈Carabao Cup semi-final.
Many people in the game feel that Isak will leave Newcastle United at the end of the season, and Arsenal have been linked with a move to sign him more t💯han any other club in the world.
Carragher has now had his say on the situation.

Arne Slot’s side have a huge advantage as they are six points 🌄ahead of the Gunners despite playing a game fewer. A win in the Merseyside Derby will increase the gap to nine points.
That could all but end the title race, and Arsenal could finish second in the Premier League for the third seasꦿon in a row, which would be a disappointing record.
Isak is Arsenal and Mikel Arteta’s dream target, and fans of the Emirates St𝓰adium club are already dreaming of seeing the Newcastle star in the famous red and white🍌.
Carragher, howevꦓer, is confused by that and has claimed that Isak wouജld ‘surely’ pick Liverpool over Arsenal if both sides went in for him.
He said on The Overlap: “There’s a lot of talk about Isak. There’s almost li💯🦂ke this feeling of Arsenal are going to sign him or Arsenal need to sign him.
“Are you looking at it as an Arsenal fan and thinking that’s realistic that you can go and buy Isak from Newcastle? He’s go♊t like three or f🐠our years on his contract.
“The reason I say that is bec🦩ause I think Liverpool are desperate for a centre-forward if I’m being totally honest. There’s no talk about Liverpool getting Isak. I doꦕn’t understand where all this Arsenal talk (has come from).
“Liverpool need one as well and If Liverpool 𝐆win the league, if he was to go, surely you would pick ꧙the team that won the league.”
Which club should Isak choose in the summer?
If Isak becomes available f🌞or a transfer, we’re sure that many of the 𓆉world’s biggest clubs will line up to sign him.
The Swede is a complete forward, and he would make any club that signs him the favourites to win the biggest titles – domest💧ically and in Europe.
Liverpool have no problems sc♏oring goals at the moment, and it would be a dream for any attacker to c⛎ome in and play in their side.
However, we think Isak is the final piece of the puzzle at Arsenal, and he could emulate his hero by going there – the great Thierry Henry.
Isak will succeed wherever he goes, but joining Arsenal and ending their Premier League title drought will make him 🍎a legend almost instantly.
