Jamie Carragher gives scathing Ange Postecoglou assessment after watching Tottenham v Everton
Ange Postecoglou looked on as his Tottenham team lost yet again, this time to Everton, and Jamie Carragher has given a scathing verdict on his Spurs side.
Postecoglou looked on from the bench as his Spurs side went three down at Everton before fighting back and scoring two late goals to at least make things look respectable.
However, it was yet another defeat and the pressure will continue to grow on the Aussie, with Spurs now in 15th in the table.
For Tottenham, it was much of the same old same old in terms of defensive frailties.
But while the players are responsible, Jamie Carragher has slammed Ange Postecoglou for actually allowing it to happen.

Jamie Carragher criticises Tottenham’s tactics under Ange Postecoglou
Speaking on commentary about the tactics for Tottenham, Carragher lamented the style of play and compared it to a kids football game where the result doesn’t matter.
“Tottenham again…it’s like watching kids academy football where they keep playing the same way and the coach says ‘don’t worry, results don’t matter’,” Carragher bemoaned.
Will Tottenham keep faith with Postecoglou?
With the results not improving and the injury situation not getting any better either, Tottenham are very much in freefall under Postecoglou at the moment.
For now, TBR understands Daniel Levy will stick with Postecoglou but with the team just eight clear of the bottom three, if things get much worse, then Levy will simply have to act.
Of course, Postecoglou is not the first manager to struggle at Spurs and people will point to it being a bigger problem than just the manager.
However, in the here and now, he is a man under pressure and another defeat next week against Leicester might well seal his fate.
