It’s not impossible that ‘special’ Aston Villa player makes late move to join Tottenham
Tottenham’s work in the summer transfer window may not be over just yet.
Spurs have already spent in excess of £100m on th🐠ree major new signings this summer, but there may still be work to do.
Indeed, it’s said that Tottenham still want an energetic midfield player, and Jacob Ramsey has been linked with Spurs for a long time now.
Speaking on Last Word on Spurs, Dharme😼sh Sheth has been discussing Spurs’ links🐠 to Ramsey, and while he says that a deal is unlikely at this point, you can never say never.
Jacob Ramsey to Tottenham isn’t impossible
Sheth shared what he knows about the ‘special‘ midfielder and Tottenham.
“Wouಞld you be shocked now to see him depart the club, especially to 🤡Tottenham?” Sheth was asked.
“Yeah I would be surprised now. You mention that he played against West Ham. A🐲ston Villa are huge fans of Lo Celso, we🔥 know the link with Unai Emery. While they would want Lo Celso, they wouldn’t want to sell Jacob Ramsey either.
“What has changed on this front as well is the pre-season performances of the young guys you’ve bough🌟t, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall. They are very impressed with how they are playing now and the potential they have making the midfield area less of a priority for Tottenham in this transfer window.
“You can never say never, I’m not trying to🌌 cop out here, but that is the stage of the transfer window. As things stand, it doesn’t seem to be a priority right now.”
Jacob Ramsey deal is very unlikely
As Sheth says, a♋nything can happen in the final days of the transfer window, but it has to be said that this move for Ramsey feels very unlikely.
As a boyhood Aston Villa fan, Ramsey will surely want to stay at Villa Park for this Champions League campaig♏n.
