‘It will be Newcastle’…Journalist provides Ruben Neves transfer update, amid Arsenal links

Former Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves is one of the leading names being mentioned ahead of the January transfer window, with both Arsenal and Newcastle keen.

The Gunners are reportedly keen on bringing Neves to the club after long-standing interest. Newcastle, meanwhile, could have an easy route to land Neves given the links between PIF, The Toon and A༒l-Hila✃l.

Neves was one of the big name players to make the mo☂ve to Saudi in the summer. It surprised a lot of people at the time but come January, he could wind up back in England.

And speaking to , journalist Ben Jacobs𒅌 has said that as it stands, there’s only one place Neves is going, and that’s N💃ewcastle.

Arsenal and Newcastle in mix to sign Ruben Neves

Speaking for GMS, Jacobs says that unless the Premier League changes the rules, then Neves wil🐻l end up at Newcastle in J♔anuary.

“We know that Arsenal have looked at Neves in the past. That’s the first thing to say. But if Neves moves to the Premier League, I think it will be Newcastle, and it🐈 doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out why, because there’s that relationship between PIF owning Newcastle and PIF controlling Al-Hilal,” Jacobs .

“The complication is obviously whether it is feasible based upon a vote from the Premier League on November 21st, when the clubs will decide whether to put a ban temporarily on associated party transactions which would stop, in January, Newcastle being able to try for Neves and therefore give a club like Arsenal if they chose to proceed a cꦏlearer path. But there’s nothing yet with Arsenal๊ and Neves active.”

Tottenham are also thought to be keen on Neves as well. It seems the Portuguese midfie🀅lder will have the pick of where he goes if a move to does happen🐬.

Of course, should𝓀 t♏he rules remain the same then you feel Neves will be getting a gentle nudge in the direction of Newcastle.

Newcastle’s injury problems have hampered them massively this seꦦason already. A signing like Neves in January, though, would cushion the blow nicely.
