‘It wasn’t working’: Kinnear says player Leeds have loaned out may never return to Elland Road

Angus Kinnear that he cannot see Kiko Casilla returning to🥂 Leeds Un💫ited.
Loan to Elche
Casilla left Leeds on loan to join Elche this summ🎃er, after falling down the pecking order at Elland Road.
Iꦫllan Meslier had pushed Casilla into second choice in goal, after showing some brilliant form over the last season ꦆand a half.
Leeds have also now signed Kristo𓆏ffer Klaesson this summer to bolster their goalkeeping ranks.
And Kinnear admꦏits that he cannot see Casilla playing ano🎉ther game at Elland Road.
“There’s another year after this one, so I think emotionally Kiko want🍸s to be back in Spain, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t return – but there is still another year [of his contract] at Leeds,” Kinnear said.
“It wa✤sn’t working for Kiko for a number of reasons, largely becaღuse he wasn’t playing regularly.”

No big loss?
That news is unlikely to disappointment many Leeds 💯fans, with Casilla not the most popular member o🐼f the squad at Elland Road.
Casilla was actually afforded a handful of appe꧅arances towards the back end of last campaign, with Marcelo Bielsa seemingly gifting him chances as a goodbye present.
Whether Casilla will sign for 🎐Elche remains ꦍto be seen, but he is expected to be the Spanish sides number one for the duration of his loan.
Leeds, meanwhile, kick their campaign off on Saturda🐠y, when ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚthey take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.
