Yannick Bolasie has claimed that Arsenal have an attacker who’s more unpredictable than Gabriel Martinelli.
Gabriel Martinelli hasn’t been at his best this season but when he’s on top form, he’s one of the most feared wingers in the Premier League.
The Brazilian boasts exceptiona𒆙l pace and his direct style of play causes all kinds of problems for opposition defences.
Bukayo Saka boast𒈔s similar traits and has estab🐼lished himself as Arsenal’s talisman over the past couple of seasons.
But it’s Nelson, not Saka, who Yannick Bolasie has labe🌠lled as a more unpredictable winger thaꦦn Martinelli.
Bolasie claims Nelson is more unpredictable than Martinelli
Speaking on , Bolasie claimed that while Nelson isn’t a better player than Martinelli, he has more than the Brazilian when it c♓om🌸es to ‘unpredictability’.
“Reiss Nelson has more than Martinelli,” Bolasie said. “Unpredictability, I’m not saying ability𒁃, but unpredictability.
“When he first came through Reiss, it was mad. I don’t feel like he ಌhas been ꦕdoing what he was doing when he was first coming through. Some man get comfortable, that’s the way it is.”
Nelson has st꧙ruggled for regular opportunities this season, having managed just five starts in all competitions.
That’s largely down to Saka and Martinelli’s influence on this Arsenal side but Nelson has impressed on a few 🐟occasion🌳s off the bench.
You can understand where Bo🅠lasie is coming from when it comes tཧo Nelson’s ‘unpredictability’.
The 24-year-old can often go both ways past defenders and excels in 1v1 situations. Martinelli also boasts similar﷽ traits but is more direct while beating hi🦩s man.
Despite the fact N🔥elson has racked up 22 appearances this seꩵason, he has only managed 643 minutes in the process.
The Englishman is clearly a talented winger and it would be intriguing to see how he could🌟 perform if given a run in the side.
B♕ut with wingers like Saka, Martinelli and Trossard at the cl𒆙ub, Nelson faces a tough ask when it comes to nailing down a place in Mikel Arteta’s side.
