Micah Richards has admitted he’s surprised by just how ‘bad’ Antony has been at Manchester United.
It’s fair to say that up until this point, Antony has been a hugely🐻 underwhelming signing for the Red Devils.
Manchester United splashed out to land the Braz♏ilian from Ajax in the summer of 🌸2022.
Despite some promising performances last term, Antony has struggled to make an impact under Erik ten Hag this season.

The winger is yet to register a goal involvement in 23 Premier League appearances this term. His poor form has even led to suggestions that he could be on the move this summer.
It’s easy to forget that Antony arrived with plenty of promise after previous♌ly excelling under Ten Hag at Ajax.
And Micah Richards claims thꦑat it ‘irks’ him when people criticise the signing due to Antony’s 💟promising form before his switch to Old Trafford.
Richards shocked at how bad Antony has been for Man United
Speaking on the , Richards delivered his verdict on Antony♚’s s🅰truggles at United.
“It really irks me the Antonyꦯ one because when Antony was at Ajax he was absolutely on fire,” he told BBC Radio 5 Live. “They paid too much for him, I agree.
“But everyone was 💝after Antony. So nobody could have imagined Antony would tur❀n out as bad as he had, because he was a good player at Ajax. He really was.”

While🉐 Antony didn’t exactly hit the ground running last season, the 24-year-old managed eight goals and three assists in all competitions.
But things have quickly gone downhill this term as he’s regist🏅ered just two goal involvements, with b♛oth coming in the FA Cup against League Two outfit Newport County.
It’s led to Antony losing his place in the side to Alejandro Garnacho, with the youngste🐓r impressing off the right-hand side in recent weeks.
