‘Incredible’ Liverpool attacker wanted by Leicester and Southampton

A highly-rated Liverpool attacker is attracting interest from Leicester City and Southampton.

The Arne Slot era is in full swing, though, he’s yet to make his first signing of the summer transfer window.

It’s thought Slot’s keen to bring in a centre-back, midfielder and a wide player, so movement is expected in the coming days.

With that said, on the outgoing front, it seems they could sanction a loan deal for one of their most talented youngsters.

Leicester and Southampton want Ben Doak

According to the , newly-promoted Premier League duo Leicester City and Southampton are keen on signing Liverpool wide player Ben Doak, who has been labelled ‘incredible’ per .

The 18-year-old is set to hold talks with Slot to decide his future and it’s thought the club are considering sending him on loan.

Doak isn’t expected to get regular playing time this season, so it’s best for his development that he gets opportunities elsewhere.

A return to his former club Celtic has been mooted but that’s unlikely to materialise.

Fabio Carvalho future

Fabio Carvalho’s future also remains somewhat uncertain after his successful loan spell at Championship outfit Hull City.

The 2002-born playmaker certainly isn’t expected to be a starter, so perhaps it’s best that he secures another loan away, this time in the Premier League.

Interestingly, Leicester were looking at him in January and could revisit that deal while in talks to potentially sign Doak.

Sepp van den Berg is another youngster who could be on his way out, though, his £20m asking price may put off forthcoming suitors.
