Iliman Ndiaye says Everton have a defender who’s an ‘unbelievable’ finisher
Everton have a great history of defenders who are great at scoring goals.
Leighton Baines was always good for a few goals per season, David Unsworth is the second-highest scoring defender in Premier League history,❀ while Phil Jagielka once scored a Goal of the Season contender against Liverpool.
Indeed, Everton have ꦜa tradition of having defenders who are, somewhat bizarrely, brilliant in fr🍸ont of goal.
That trend doesn’t seem to be ending either, and speaking to the Premier League, Iliman Ndiaye has claimed that Michael Keane is actually a really go𝓡od finisher.
Ndiaye is having a fantastic season, and he’s hailed Kea𝓀ne for his ability in front o😼f goal.

Michael Keane is a great finisher
Ndiaye spo꧃ke about Keane and his goalscoring 💮ability.
The atta𝓀cker says that Keane is actual🅠ly a brilliant finisher, claiming that he even gets involved in attacking drills in Everton training sometimes.
Troy Deeney has praised Keane for his performances this season.
“I think that would be very good, they🃏 would score a ༺lot of goals. Especially Michael Keane, he is one of the best defenders who can finish, unbelievable,” Ndiaye said.
“When you have finishing drills does he getꦛ involved?” Ndiayeℱ was asked.
“Yes, it’s like, why is a defender in the striker’s drills? B✨ut everyone gets into scoring situations, so it’s good that he joins in,” Ndiaye ওsaid.
Michael Keane goalscoring record
Ndiaye says th𝔍at Keane is a great finis♓her, and he does have a decent goalscoring record to reflect that.
Michael Keane career stats | |
League apperances | 335 |
Goals | 25 |
Games per goal | 13 |
Keane has 25 league goals to his name in his career, that reall🦄y isn’t a bad return for a centre-▨back.
Of course, he’s n♌ot the most prolific player in the world, but having that extra player in your squad who knows how to put the ball into the back of the net is never a ba🎐d thing.
David Moyes has always liked defenders who can be a threat from set-pieces, from Angelo Ogbonna at West Hamಌ to even Nemanja Vidic at Manchester United.
Keane 🌺has that ability to score goals from dead ball situations, and that may be something Moyes looks to exploit as he gets back into the swing of things during his second sti꧙nt at Goodison Park.
