Ian Wright says he really wants Arsenal fans to stick with £45m player

Arsenal have started this Premier League season brilliantly.

The Gunners remain unbeaten after seven games, and they’re very much in the mix 𓆉in the title race.

However, it hasn’t been fully straightforward for Arsenal as of late.

Mikel Arteta’s side won 3-1 against Southampton at the weekend, but they did go 1-0 down in the game a♌nd they struggled to create chances for large periods.

Arteta experimented with his attack in this game as he handed both Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus rare starts against the Saints.

Unfortunaꦉtely, both Sterling and Jesus struggled to make an impact.

Speaking on the Wrighty’s House Podcast, Ian Wright has been discussing Jesus’ recent performances, and while he says it’s not going well at the moment, he’s♉ urg🥂ed Arsenal fans to stick by the Brazilian.

Ian Wright tells Arsenal fans to back Gabriel Jesus

Wright urged Arsen🎃al supporters to stand by the man.

Arsenal fans have been getting a tad fed up of Je🧸sus after a barren run in front of goal.

Jesus is yet to find the net this season, and he’s lost his place in the team to Kai Havertz in recent months.

Adrian Clarke told Arsenal fans to not w𝕴rite Jesus🌊 off, and now Wright has shared a similar message.

“Can I just say about Gabriel Jesus, I feel the need to support 🌼him rig🌱ht now, I know there’s a feeling that we may have outgrown him, but when he came he levelled us up,” Wright said.

“We will definitely need him at some stage, I think it’s important for Arsenal fans to support him and they have to get behind him. He is tryiꦑng so hard himself at the moment.

“We’re going to need him. We need to give him the confidence, listening to the murmurings and the way the fans are, please man, back this guy, stay wi♋th him. He wants to do so well and he just needs support.”

Jesus is one of Arsenal’s best players

It’s been a little while since Jesus has deli🌄vered in a big game for Arsenal, but, technically, he’s still one of the Gunners’ best players.

Indeed, it wasn’t too long ago that Declan Rice named Jesus as the best player in Arsenalꦬ traไining.

“I think it’s ei🀅ther Gabriel Jesus 📖or Odegaard, one of them two, they are just so good at football,” Rice said.

“Probably Jesus but Odegaard is there as well, they’re both just so good. The stuff they do with the ball is unbelievabl෴e. To see it, it’s so good!”

As Wright says, Jesusඣ is lacking confidence at the moment and things aren’t clicking, but if he can find a way to relax into his game and find a bit of form, he’s a deadly wꦉeapon.

Jesus is a four-time꧋ Premier League winner for a reason, he knows how to get over the line in those big moments, and that sort of experience will be invaluable for Arsenal if they’re to win the league title this season.
