Ian Wright reacts on Instagram as Arsenal confirm exit

Daniel Ballard has today left Arsenal to embark on another loan spell away from the Emirates Stadium. The centre-back is yet to feature for the Gunners first-team, having risen through the youth ranks. He has today signed for Millwall on loan and Ian Wright has reacted.

The 21-year-old spent the 2020/2𝓰1 campaign on loan in League One with Blackpool. He played 30 times for the Tangerines, ✤helping the club win promotion to the Championship under Neil Critchley.

The Arsenal man’s first temporary stint away proved fruitful🌠. Ballard also earned international recognition with Northern Ireland and has now made eight💯 appearances for his adopted country.

Moving up to the Championship looks like a decent next step in his development𝐆. He will hope to help Gary Rowett’s men improve on last season’s 11th place finish.
