My View: Timo Werner will have to step up his game
In my view, Timo Werner wi💎ll have to step up his game if he is to be a success at Tottenham Hotspur.
The 27-year-old has not been at his best for a while now. The forward did not have the best of times at Chelsea, and his return to RB Leipzig has not been particu🍌larꦫly fruitful either.
At Chelsea, Werner scored 10 goals and gave nine assists in 56 appearances in🍨 the Premier League.
At Leipzig, the forward scored nine gꦇoals and gave three assists in the Bundesliga last season and has scored two goals in eight appearances in the Bundesliga this campaign.
Meanwhile, former Tottenham striker Gary Lineker has noted the return to form of forward Son Heung-min under head coach Ange Postecoglou this season.
The South Korea international forward has scored 12 goals and given five assists in 20 Premier League matches for Spurs so far this season. Gary Neville has been hugely impressed as well.
Lineker said on podcast: “Son has b🐓urst back to form this season♈ under Ange Postecoglou, which has been great to see.
