‘I absolutely love him’… Pundit says Leeds have a player who you can always rely on

Leeds United’s defensive depth has to be the envy of the Championship.

Pascal Struijk and Joe Rodon have formed one of the best partnerships in the division, and even when they don’t play, the likes of Liam Cooper and Charlie Cresswell꧂ are great options, while Ethan Ampadu can fill-in if needed.

𒀰Speaking on , Michael Bridges has spared some special praise for Cooper after he dropped out of the starting XI for the game against Swansea on Wednesday.

🐠Bridges stated that while it’s a shame Cooper came out of the team, he’s Leeds’ very own Mr Reliable, claiming that he absolutely loves him both on and off the pitch.

Cooper is Mr Reliable

Bridges shared his verdict on the club captain.

🌊“The balance has been tremendous and if Daniel Farke has the chance to put that partnership back together, our captain, unfortunately, Liam Cooper, Mr Reliable, I absolutely love him on and off the pitch, but we know for a fact that Pascal will do a great job,” Bridges said.

Gives his all

🅰Cooper may not be Leeds’ best player, but he’s incredibly consistent and will always give his all no matter what when he steps onto the pitch.

💜Make no mistake about it, Cooper is still the leader in this Leeds team, and while he may not be the first name on Daniel Farke’s teamsheet, he’s his most trusted lieutenant in the dressing room.

♔After nine years at the club, Cooper is bordering on club legend status, and perhaps another promotion this season will cement the Scotland international as one of Leeds’ true modern greats.

Cooper is someone Leeds have always been able to rely upon💛, and there’s a reason so many different managers have found a place for him in their squad.
