How those inside Liverpool feel about Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future after links with Real Madrid
Liverpool’s summer business does not need reminding to any of their fans with the new season now just hours away.
Arne Slot൲ has arrived on Merseyside with a big task on his hands as he is being required to replace the legendary Jurgen Klopp.
However, that is not the only thing which the Dutchman is needing to navigate at Liverpool over the coming months.
ꩵThe Reds are preparing themselves for a new campaign with no new players to add to their squad despite their recent efforts.
꧑Liverpool were rejected by Martin Zubimendi earlier in the week♐ with the Real Sociedad midfielder wanting to remain at his current club.
🉐But there is something going on internally at Anfield which will be just as much of a concern to the fans this summer.

Liverpool facing big internal situation at Anfield
💟The summer is always focused on signing new players and adding to the squad ahead of what is going to be a busy campaign.
🌠And that is perhaps why Liverpool are looking to try one final time for Zubimendi this summer before giving up on the midfielder.
🅠However, reporter Dharmesh Sheth has now shared what he has heard about the club’s situation with some of their top players entering the final year of their deal.
ꦯLiverpool have a number of big players who are now set to play into the final 12 months of their contract with the club, including:
🍌“And the big one for me, we’ve been talking about him, Trent Alexander Arnold, yet to sign a new contract,” said Sheth.
💮“There doesn’t seem to be any worrying noises, though, coming from the club, which is why I’m thinking they’ve probably got it all in hand and in control, which you would expect them to have.
🌠“And if there’s a situation where one of them was to leave, you know, that’ll be an interesting scenario, and how Liverpool would handle that, and also whether they would be a replacement in line lined up for that.”
Real Madrid want to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold
ꩲWith just 12 months remaining on his deal, Alexander-Arnold is naturally going to see interest fall his way with his future not locked in to Liverpool.
ཧReal Madrid are already showing an interest in signing Alexander-Arnold♊ ahead of next summer when he looks set to become a free agent.
But Madrid are not the only Spanish side keeping an eye on 🐟Alexander-Arnold with Barcelona also appearing to be in the race for his signature.
꧃Given the quality the right-back holds and also given he is one of the club’s homegrown talents, surely Liverpool will be doing all they can to keep him tied down.
💖But when a club like Madrid come knocking, it is often hard to ignore.
