AFCON champion Sadio Mane has claimed that he has been really💃 impressed by Liverpool new boy Luis D✃iaz.

The Senegal international missed the Colombian’s arrival as he was away on international duty. Diaz dazzled on his debut and his performance against Leicester in his f🔥irst Premier League start was simply fantastic as well.

However, Jurgen Klopp brought Mane back into the side against Burnley after his return from AFCON and♎ Diaz remained an unused substitute.

The ex-Porto man may have to get used to a role on the bench more often than no🌱t until the end of the season but Mane is absolutely convinced that Diaz will be a big player for Liverpool in the coming years.

Sadio Mane: Luis Diaz is so talented

The Senegal star told : “I’ve spent two, three days with him and he’s a very, very nice guy. For sure he will do great for Liverpool because he’s so, so talent𒁏ed and he’s very humble. A very hard-working player.

“I don’t see it as competition. I see it as making each other better players. If you want to be a great teꦯam you need these kinds of players. We are really happy to have these kinds of players and for sure, we’re going to win and Liverpool will win from it.

“You think about the Champions League and Premier League…which is gre🐠at for us as players and for the club, and for the fans.

“I think everyone knows Klop♍p is a great manager. 🍌He is used to this situation, making sure everyone is happy, and for sure he will keep doing the same.”

Mane is Liverp♒ool’s first-choice starter at the moment and rightly so. The 29-year-old has scored 10 goals🏅 in all competitions this season and following Senegal’s AFCON triumph, his confidence will be sky-high.

However, it is very likely that the former Southampton man wil🌃l be allowed to leave in the summer. Mane has already entered the final 18 months of his contract and with Salah’s deal a much bigger priority for Liverpool, it won’t be a surprise to see him sold.

That opens the door for Diaz to come in and the Colombian is a fantastic successor to Mane. He was absolutely sensational for Porto🎃 and whatever little we’ve seen of him in Liverpool’s colours shows that he has the potentiღal to become a star.

Liverpool take on Inter Milan this evening and it wil🧜l be interesting to see who Klopp will go with on the left-wing. Considering that Mane played close to 70 minutes against Burnley just a few days ago, it won’t be a surprise to see Diaz get the nod.
