‘He’s really fast’… Tottenham told they have a young player who plays just like Frenkie de Jong
Tottenham Hotspur youngster Lucas Bergvall has been compared to Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong by his old coach.
Spurs ended the winter transfer window by sealing the deal for Bergvall. Tottenham beat Barcelona to sign him, and he is viewed by everyone as a really exciting talent.

Tottenham youngster Lucas Bergvall is a ‘little copy of Frenkie de Jong’
Tottenham signed Lucas Bergvall from Djurgarden for £8.5 million last week ().
The 18-year-old seemed to be on his way to Barcelona, but after Tottenham came in and presented their project, the youngster snubbed the Catalans and chose Spurs.
Bergvall is a fantastic young player. His coach from when he was very young, Peter Kisfaludy, claimed that the teenager could become as good as Dejan Kulusevski in the coming years.
Kisfaludy further shared what type of a player Bergvall is, and his comparison will really excite Tottenham fans as they look forward to seeing the youngster in action next season.
Speaking to , Kisfaludy said: “His best position is as a number eight. He’s a box-to-box player, running into the box and he’s really good at playing the ball between the lines.
“He’s a little copy of Frenkie de Jong.
“He’s really fast with the ball, really good with the ball and a fantastic dribbler.”

Bergvall will suit Ange-ball
One of the best things about Tottenham this season is the style of football Ange Postecoglou has brought to the club.
Gone are the days when Spurs played boring, defensive football. They are among the most exciting sides to watch in the country now, and that makes them a really attractive club for players.
Bergvall will fit into this Tottenham side. Yes, he’ll need time to adapt to the pace and physicality of the English game, but he’s a silky midfielder who’s good on the ball, great at dribbling and has an eye for a pass.
Spurs’ attacking system will really suit him, and under a manager like Postecoglou, he could become a real star in the coming years.
