‘He’s failed’: Pundit says Manchester United now have a player who’s ‘a bit like Paul Pogba’
Manchester United have had their fair share of transfer flops over the years.
The likes of Jadon Sancho, Antony and Donny van de Beek have all proven to be terrible value for money signings, but perhaps the worst of the bunch is still Paul Pogba.
Pogba was probably a better playe👍r than the af🍃orementioned trio, but for a then world-record fee, the Frenchman didn’t live up to expectations at Old Trafford.
Pog🐻ba was wildly inconsistent for United and failed to make any sort of lasting impact in Manchester, and speaking 🍎on the , Mark Schwarzer has now compared another of United’s players to Pogba.
Indeed, the pundit has been quick to point out similarities between Anthony Martial 🐠and Pogba, claiming that just like his fell🅰ow countryman, Martial has shown glimpses of talent but has failed to ever really put it all together.

Martial is like Pogba
Schwarzer shared his verdict on the attacker.
“I want to mention Anthony Martial up front. I don’t remember a player who has struggled as much as he has and puts In so many poor performances but🌃 still gets chances. It is bizarre, am I being over critical and harsh?” Schwarzer said.
“There’s clearly a talented player in there because every manager has utilised him, but he’s failed time and time again. Oneღ game against Everton is not enough for me, it’s a bit like Paul Pogba, a phenomenal talent, but he never gave 90 minutes of football at a world-class level, Martial is very few and far between.”
Ongoing problem
This has been an ong🥃oing problℱem for Man United for too long now.
For years the Red Devils have had supremely talented players who they haven’t been able to🦩 get the best out of.
Make no mistake about it, Pogba and Martial aren’t the only ones who fit i꧅nto this category.
Let’s not forget, sܫomeone like Jadon Sancho was a star in Germany, while the likes of Memphis Depay and Romelu Lukaku were𝕴 also supposed to achieve so much more at Old Trafford.
United have an is﷽sue when it comes to keeping players focused, motivated and playing their best football, and that needs addressing.
