‘He’s been excellent’… Joe Hart can’t hide his admiration for 25-year-old Celtic star

This week has been a good one for Celtic in terms of getting that Champions League monkey off their back.

The 2-1 win over Feyenoord means Celtic end their winless streak in Europe’s top competition and with the team set to face Hearts today, Joe Hart was praising Liam Scales for his incredible rise 𝓡to the Celtic first team.

Hart said [], “He’s been excellent. Footbal🍬🔯l’s mad, isn’t it?”

“Look at him. It’s about moments, you have to take your moments. I’ve lived this career for a long time now and not everywhere I’ve got has been down to me alwa🌺ys being a stand-o♊ut.

“It’s just about being in the right place at the right time and having the right attitude and commitment.

“Liam was excellent last year on loan at Aberdeen and it was no secret that he was lookin🐭g to do that again as he’d𒁃 done well.

They really wanted him but 🤪his moment came here and he’s stepped up and don꧑e really well. He’s hung in there. You’ve got to.

“There are so m⭕any good players out there so once you’ve got a footho🌱ld you can’t let anyone take that from you.

“He put his body on the line for us again and that epitomised his♒ performance.”

Scales is likely to be paired with Carter-Vickers again this afternoon as the US defender returns after his recent injury scare and the Celtic fans wi🅺ll be hoping that the two continue their excellent partnership to defeat Hearts at Parkhead.

In other news, Celtic told they made a huge mistake not signi๊ng 24-year-old player who Juventus now want
