‘He’s as good as anybody now’: Neil Warnock wowed by 24-year-old Arsenal star

🅺Arsenal defender Ben White has been praised by Neil Warnock, in 🍷conversation with .

Theꦦ 73-year-old took part in the online outlet’s challenge of managing the England team on Football Manager.

And White made the cut in Warnock’s World Cup starꦡting XI, the Gunners star forming part of a ♔three-man defence.

“He improved throughout the course of last season and I think he’s as ౠgood as anybody now,” said Warnock.

“And compared to the likes of [Harry] Maguire, [Tyrone] Mings and [Conor] Coady, he has that🧸 extra bit of pace that’ll be crucial against the bigger teams.”

White has impressed at Arsenal since his £50million move from Brighton🌳 last summer.

The 24-year-old made 37 appearances in all competitions in his debut season at the Emirates🔯.

He formed a superb centre-back partnership with Gabriel Magalhaes, with only 🀅the top four keeping more clean sheets than Arsenal in 2021-22.

White has also been impressing at right-back, where he starte🌠d in t🎉he Gunners’ Premier League opening-day win at Crystal Palace.
