‘He’s arrived’… Yannick Bolasie thought 24-year-old Arsenal man looked unbelievably confident last night
Former Premier League player and Arsenal fan Yannick Bolasie has now been praising one outstanding performance last night.
It was another dominant showing by Mikel Arteta⛎ and his Arsenal side away from home yesterday evening, and Sheffield United simply couldn’t cope with their quality.

Martin Odegaardꦓ started the scoring early on, setting a captain’s example.
🐻And from that point it almost felt as if Arsenal would score with every single entry into the opposition half.
Moreover, whilst there were a ton of brilliant performances to celebrate, with both Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka also being brilliant in addition to their captain, it was a different player Yannick Bolasie singled out.
Bolasie last night and remarked at just how confident Kai Havertz now looks in an Arsenal shirt.
🔴It hasn’t always been easy for Havertz in North London since he joined in the summer, but he’s now showing an incredible run of form.
And as long as his performances at centre-forward continue, it could be hard for Gabriel Jesus to get back into the team.
Yannick Bolasie amazed at how confident Arsenal’s Kai Havertz looked last night
Both Havertz and Leandro Trossard♏ have excelled as a false nine of late for Arsenal.
🧜And following Havertz’s superbly taken goal last night, Bolasie suggested that the German had properly found his place in this Arsenal team.

⛦He said: “Happy for him, he’s arrived now….confidence is [key].”
Of course, it has been so rewarding from an Arsenal𝐆 fan point of view to see Havertz come through his struggles and find his position in the side.
🙈Perhaps playing as a false nine nine does suit the 24-year-old slightly better than when he plays deeper in the number eight.
🐻But either way, it’s clear that Havertz offers Arteta so much tactical freedom, which seemed to be the target of last summer’s window.
🐻Declan Rice has also done the same, being able to play across the whole midfield three.
And although Jurrien Timber൲ has unfortunately missed much of the season through injury, he was also intended to be similarly transformative in defence.
All that being said, ✅Thierry Henry absolutely loved what Martin Odegaard said straight after last night’s win.
