Arsenal sold Auston Trusty for a profit without even playing for Mikel Arteta
Trusty arrived at Arsenal from the MLS on dead🦩line day in the 2022 January window, who then immediately returned to Colorado Rapids on loan for the remainder of the season.
Trusty then went on Arsenal’s pre-season tour of the US six-months later, a centre-back who was 23-💫years-old at the time of signing.

Arsenal seemingly spotted Trusty as an undervalued asset in the MLS, someone who perhaps never had a🌟ny strong chance of pushing his way into Arteta’s starting eleven.
And in that vein, the Pennsylvania-born defender went on 🤪loan to Birmingham City for the 2022/23 season.
After making 48 appearances for Birmingham, Arsenal then sold Trusty for a small profit to Sheffield United, where he ultimately only spent oneဣ season.

It didn’t quite work out for Trusty with the Blades, but they still managed to a🌊lso make a profit on t💦he centre-back when he was then sold to Celtic in Scotland.
So in the space of three full seasons, Trusty 🐎is now on the books for his fourth club in the United Kingdom.

And since signing for Brendan Rodgers’ side, Trusty has been a first team regular, playing 90 minutes in a🍃ll of their crucial Champions League ties this season.
At the end of January, Trusty played against Arsenal target Ollie Watkins, and then recently he also was attempting to stop Harry Kane from scoring aga🎐instཧ Celtic.
Better still, the US international should still have his best years to come at 26-ജyears-old.
Trusty now has four caps for his c🍸ountry – all of which came after his initial transfer to Arsenal.
