‘He goes clattering in’… Michael Stewart was really impressed with 25-year-old Celtic player’s bravery vs Hibs
Celtic’s win over Hibs was, as all the Hoops supporters will attest to, an extremely nervy one.
For the secon🅘d time in as many weeks, Celtic took an early lead but failed to capitalise on the momentum and bury their opponents.
W🌳hen Hibs scored their equaliser midw🍸ay through the second half, the nerves were starting to show and at one point, Hibs looked like they could go on and win the game.
However, Adam Idah’s second penalty sealed the points and Brendan Rodgers returned to Glasgow a happy man.
But whilst the performance was nervy, Michael Stewart couldn’t help but praise the bravery of one♕ Celtic player last night.
In the runup to Celtic’s second penalty award, the BBC pundit hailed the commitment of Anthony Ralston as it was his full-blooded tackle that created the breakaway which eventually led to Kyogo Furuhashi being fouled in the Hibs penalty box.
Coming on in the tenth minute for the injured Alistair Johnston, Ralston barely put a foot wrong againꦫ f🦂or Celtic.
Stewart said [], “I mean the o⛄ther thing I would say about that is well that, for all we’re talking about the nervousness of Celtic’s performance.
“Anthony Ralston, there’s a 50/50 where he shows willing. He goes clattering in against Jouan, wins the ball and that’s what builds up to bein♒g able to get that strike away.
“If Youan had shown t🔯he same willingness he might have been able to actually get a counterattack on Celtic another end.
“And that could be the difference between g🎶etting three points for Hibs or just getting the point or eventually losing the game.”

I said yesterday that Ralston should have started against Hibs in place of๊ Alexandro Bernabei and it⛎ was exactly because of this.
The 25-year-old defender has shown on countless ▨occasions just how committed he is to Celtic🌊 as he never shirks a tackle.
When there is a 50/50 Ralston will never pull out.𓂃 He goes in hard, but fair, and thank goodness he did last night because if it waಞsn’t for him, Celtic could very well have dropped another two vital points.
