Greg Taylor admits Celtic have been really missing two ‘top’ players recently

Celtic have their fair share of injuries to deal with this season. Not only have they had to deal with a defensive injury crisis, but they have also had to deal with key personnel missing from other positions in the team.

And Greg Taylor has named two players that Celtic have really missed this season an♌d he is delighted th🍬at they could be back in time for the Rangers game on Saturday afternoon.

Taylor said [ print edition ], “Yeah exactly. Back, not𓆉 just for the game at the weekeꩲnd, but just in general. We have missed these guys.

“Reo brings a real dynamism. He’s strong on the ball, creative with real energy in midfield. And Liel is a threat 🎉in behind. He’s a goalscorer so they are two g🧔uys who are top players for us.

“They’ve been injured for a long time so to have competition for places and have these 👍guys back who played real vital roles last season will only help us.

Hatate’s creativity in the middle of the park has certainly affected Celtic’s ability to cut open defences. The Japan international was just finding his form after being dropped early into the season until he picked up a hamstring injury against Atletico Madrid in October.

As for Liel Abada, his numbers speak for themselves. The Israeli winger has been a valuable contributor to Celtic’s goals and assists column over the past two seasons [] and there is little doubt that his direct running and cutbacks from the byline have been missed by Kyogo Furuhashi.

If both are fit and available for the Rangers game I wo🧸uld have no hesitation in throwing them in at some point on Saturday because both have been 🍃a thorn in the Ibrox club’s side over the past two years and Celtic will need them to get a result and extend their lead at the top of the league.
