Gent chairman claims Leeds have made Jonathan David offer
that Leeds United want Jonathan David, and even suggested that the Whites had made a better offer than Lille for the forward.
David has enjoyed an outstanding season in Belgium. He scored 18 goals in 27 top flight games, while he also scored three times in the Europa League.
It would perhaps be little surprise therefore, to see David on the move this month. And it appears that Marcelo Bielsa may be interested in bringing the Canada international to Elland Road.
De Witte has claimed that Lille had been tracking the 20-year-old. But he went on to hint that Leeds have made a more interesting approach for the youngster.
