‘Frustrated’… Barry Ferguson says Celtic have a ‘quality’ player who won’t be happy right now

Celtic’s team selection is getting a real dose of criticism after the team lost 2-1 to Kilmarnock on Sunday.

Brendan Rodgers and his players are receiving unending doses of criticism ๊as they allowed Rangers to get back ༒into the title race.

As the Celtic manager looks to try and halt the slump in creativity from his side, Barry Ferguson says the answer to his problems is ꧂already staring Rodgers in the face.

Ferguson said [], “If I’m looking at it and I’m seeing somebody on the bench, James Forrest, I mean I know he’s getting on💫 a bit but for me, he’s st𒀰ill quality.

“So he must be frustraওted with not getting an opportunity.”

James Forrest is not the answer to Celtic’s problems

I genuinely can’t see where Barry Ferguson is coming from here. Whilst I am a huge admirer of Forrest and completely respect what he has done for Celtic, the days of him being a creative force or even a difference-maker are long gone.

The 32-year-old winger has been used more out of necessity than need this season as Rodgers tries to negotiate this half of the season without the injured Daizen Maeda and crocked Liel Abada.

The Celtic manager must be counting down the hours till those two are back in action but all talk of James Forrest soᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤♐⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚmehow being Celtic’s saviour needs to stop now.

Celtic’s problems, however, are far more deep-rooted than James Forrest being touted as a creator. Kyogo Furuhashi has gone off the boil.

The defensive issue when Cameron Carter-Vickers is unavailable is glaring and the fact that Joe Hart seems incapable of commanding his six-yard box should also be concerning Rodgers𝐆.

How far Celtic have fallen is extremely alarming and the supporters will be hoping that their manager has something up his sleeve come January because it’s going to take a bit of magic to turn🍷 this around.
