Four options Bournemouth have looked at to replace Dean Huijsen amid Liverpool and Arsenal interest

TBR Football can exclusively confirm that Bournemouth have begun working on potential Dean Huijsen replacements as the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal circle around the Spain international.

Huijsen has caught the eye of the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal in wake of a superb maiden season at the Vitality Stadium.

TBR Football sources previously revealed that Bournemouth want the Huijsen deal done quickly so they can reinvest the money.

We can now reveal that four players have nw emerged as potential targets for Bournemouth as they look to bring in a replacement for Huijsen.

Bournemouth looking at Cristhian Mosquera, Jorge Herrando, Oumar Solet and Montassar Talbi

TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey can exclusively confirm that two of the names firmly on Bournemouth’s radar are in la Liga.

The players in question are Valencia’s Cristhian Mosquera and Osasuna’s Jorge Herrando.

Oumar Solet, who plies his trade for Serie A, is another player the Cherries have looked at.

Bournemouth have also assessed Tunisia international Montassar Talbi, who plays for affiliate club FC Lorient in France’s Ligue 2.

What Cristhian Mosquera, Jorge Herrando, Oumar Solet and Montassar Talbi could bring to Bournemouth

Mosquera is a 20-year-old defender who plays for Valencia and the Spain Under-21 team. He plies his trade at centre-back but can also cover at right-back.

Mosquera tops the Liga standings for ball recoveries this season, with 180 recoveries in Valencia’s 31 matches to date.

Meanwhile, Herrando is a 24-year-old centre-back who has made 20 appearances in all competitions for Osasuna this term and 76 overall.

Solet is a 25-year-old centre-back who can also play in defensive midfield. He has made 13 appearances for Udinese this season, registering one goal and one assist.

As per , Solet ranks highly when it comes to goal contributions by a centre-back, and he’s also highly-rated when it comes to take-ons and blocks.

Finally, Talbi is a 26-year-old centre-back who plays for French second-tier side Lorient and has won 49 caps for the Tunisia men’s international team.

He has won two Tunisian titles with Esperance Tunis and played at the 2022 World Cup as well as two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
