Forest fans cannot understand Sabri Lamouchi’s second-half decision against Millwall

🔯Nottingham Forest suffered a somewhat surprising 3-0 defeat to Millwall at The City Ground as target man Matt Smith scored a first-half hat-trick to down Sabri Lamouchi’s side – and some Forest fans have hammered the Frenchman on Twitter.

𝓡Going into the game, Forest were looking to get their season back on track as they look to make a late push for the automatic promotion slots – or at least fend off competition from those outside of the top six.

ꦿHowever, powerhouse Smith was too much for both Joe Worrall and Tobias Figuerido to handle. The former Leeds striker’s aerial prowess was unmatched, as Gary Rowett’s side strolled to an unlikely three points.

ꦉSmith opened the scoring after an excellent bit of work by Murray Wallace saw Smith dive in bravely to head past Brice Samba. The second was also just as well-worked, but Smith will be lucky to have the goal go down in his name.

🔴Indeed, Jayson Molumby’s effort knicked off of Smith into the net, with the goal being recorded as Smith’s. The target man completed his hat-trick just 13 minutes after his first goal, heading home a deep corner from Shane Ferguson.

𒈔With Forest chasing the game, Lamouchi opted to take off Joao Carvalho in the 72nd minute and replace him with Tyler Walker – despite Portuguese star Carvalho showing signs of promise. Forest fans cannot believe their manager’s decision.
